Mooresville, NC (August 22, 2018) – Wendell Chavous is switching numbers and leaving the country this weekend with primary sponsor, Sobriety Nation as he and the #15 team cross the border to arrive in Canada at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for Sunday’s main feature in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, ‘Chevrolet Silverado 250’. This will be Chavous’ first time at this 10-turn road course and he is up for the challenge 100%!
“This is going to be an interesting one for sure. I’ve never been to this track before, so I don’t really know what to expect. But, I’m going to keep an open mind and I trust my crew chief (Mike Hillman Sr.) completely. If he says we will be ok then we will be ok. We’ll get as many practice laps as we can, so I can be as prepared as I can be for the race. I think we will be just fine and have some fun too.” – Wendell Chavous
