Mooresville, NC (March 16, 2017) – Ross Chastain will remain behind the wheel of the #15 Chevrolet for Premium Motorsports in this weekend’s final stop of the west coast swing for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, ‘Auto Club 400’ with returning sponsor, Low T Center.
Chastain has driven the team’s chartered entry since the second race of the 2018 season at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Since then, he has continuously shown improvement over the last several weeks. Good chemistry between Chastain and Premium Motorsports’ crew chiefs Pat Tryson and Todd Parrott along with their crew members has clearly been evident.
“The past few weeks driving for Jay (Robinson) have been a lot of fun. I’m learning how to handle these cup cars compared to the Xfinity cars that I’m used to driving and I’m having a great time doing what I love. The crew does a really good job and we’re all getting more comfortable with each other. I try to give Pat (Tryson) & Todd (Parrott) the best feedback I can so we can really get the car dialed in and get better finishes every week. So far so good.
