Jay Robinson on Why He Chose Specific No.15 Throwback Tribute Scheme:

Since we have the 15 number this year, I wanted to do a throwback that meant something to me and the choice came pretty easy. I was a big fan of the Allison brothers back in the 1960’s & 1970’s and they drove for Bud Moore. Bud owned the 15 car in the late 1980’s, I liked the way it looked and thought it would look just as good if we ran that paint scheme at Darlington and it does look that good. It’s as simple as that”.

Reed Sorenson on Darlington Raceway, Throwback Weekend and Xchange of America:

“Throwback weekend at Darlington is one of those weekends you look forward to all year. Darlington is a tough track so you have to be on your game or else you’ll get one of those famous stripes and no one wants that, I know I don’t. It challenges me. Tire ware is always an issue because the track is so porous, it just grinds them up quick so we’ll keep a close eye on that. I’m glad to have ‘Xchange of America back again this weekend. They’ve had a good time every time they were with us this year and I think they will really like this weekend. I’ll do my job to get them a good finish and hopefully make Brett Bodine & Bud Moore proud to see their car on track again”.
