Reed Sorenson on Auto Club Speedway:

“California is very unique because it probably has more lanes than any other track we go to and you can use the whole apron. So especially in lanes 3 & 4, I’d say there’s probably 5 lanes that you can choose from. The seams make the car very loose when you cross them so have to kind of pic where you want to be and either split the seams or stay off them, so it’s a great track to run 2 to 3 wide around. You can run the very bottom or against the wall, whichever way your car runs better but it’s very unique in the fact that there’s a lot of choices. The asphalt is getting older so there’s fall off from new tires to old tires and that usually provides good racing”.

Reed Sorenson on ‘’:

“I think’s approach is fresh way of bringing new sponsors into the sport, which is always a good thing. There’s probably a lot of people out there who want to get involved but don’t necessarily know how to or think it costs way too much to even try, so does a good job of showing people that anyone can do it and be a part of what we do, and have a really fun time too. It’s a win win for everyone. I’m hoping to give them a good finish this weekend and hopefully more people will want to do it and join the team”.
