Richmond, VA (April 28, 2017) – Premium Motorsports arrives at Richmond International Raceway with heavy hearts as they mourn the loss of special team friend, Sarah Bush. She enjoyed singing in her school choir as much as she loved animals. She adored her beloved horse, Boss and spent as much time as she could riding and caring for him. She was also part of the 4H Saddle Seekers Club.
Sarah was diagnosed with a heart condition before she was born. She had to endure several open-heart surgeries throughout her life. One month ago, she was diagnosed with leukemia. After rounds of treatment to fight this disease, her body just couldn’t take it any longer. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27th, 2017 at the tender age of 14, surrounded by her closest family & friends.
The team will place a memorial decal on Reed Sorenson’s No.15 Chevrolet to honor her memory this weekend.
