Mooresville, NC (April 13, 2017) – We are excited to announce that Joey will be pulling double duty this May at Talladega Superspeedway!

Joey Gase is happy to announce that he will be partnering with Sparks Energy Inc for the Sparks Energy 300 on May 6th and the GEICO 500 on May 7th. Gase will be piloting #15 for Premium Motorsports, LLC in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and #52 for Jimmy Means Racing in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

Sparks Energy and Gase will also be teaming up to promote a very important cause to Gase: organ, eye, and tissue donation. The Donate Life logo will be displayed on the hood of Gase’s Xfinity car. On the lower quarter panels of the car the Alabama Organ Center and Donate Life Mississippi (Organ Procurement Organization in Alabama and Mississippi) will also be displayed.

“I can’t thank the great folks of Sparks Energy enough for teaming up with us not only on the track but also off it to promote organ, eye, and tissue donation and to honor all of those affected by it.” said Gase. “We will also have 4 honoree pictures on the XFINITY car: my mom Mary Gase (organ donor), Kobe Cameron (organ donor from Alabama), Dominic Pollard (organ donor from Mississippi), Wyman Pounders (Father of Sparks Energy’s CEO, Magen Sparks, who passed away while going through the transplant process).”

Gase has proven that he can use the draft not just at Talladega but at all superspeedways. In May of 2015, Gase finished 5th at Talladega Superspeedway with Jimmy Means Racing, which grabbed the attention of big names like Dale Earnhardt Jr. “Top 5 for one of my heroes Jimmy Means and his driver Joey Gase,” said Earnhardt, Jr. over Twitter. This past February in Daytona Gase finished 7th in the XFINITY Series Race and made his first Daytona 500 Series start, finishing a very respectable 23rd place.
